When tasked with creating a floating stage for a high-profile concert attended by over 10,000 people, featuring pop and rock stars, and a car prominently placed for promotional purposes, BulDock delivered perfection. The floating concert stage, a 10m by 12m platform, was linked to the land with a sturdy bridge. Built using 796 high-density polyethylene (HDPE) cubes known for their impact, chemical, UV, and weather resistance, the stage boasted a maximum load capacity nearly 52 tons—ample for performers, sound and lighting equipment, and marketing materials.
To ensure utmost safety, BulDock enhanced the floating stage with a self-engineered metal frame to increase stability and load capacity. Twenty concrete anchors, installed by professional divers, stabilized the entire structure, showcasing BulDock’s commitment to safety and innovation.
The concert was a resounding success, receiving rave reviews from both live and TV audiences and extensive media coverage. BulDock’s floating stage was not just a platform but a centerpiece that captured the imagination of everyone present.
